Join Our Community

We aim to support the growth of Pilates by designating professional statuses and providing a platform for studios, instructors, and practitioners to connect and thrive.

CPMS Services

The Canadian Pilates Method Society (CPMS) provides a range of national services designed to strengthen, unify, and expand access to Pilates across Canada.

Our core offerings include:

National Registry

The CPMS National Registry connects apprentices, instructors, practitioners, educators, studios, and clinics across Canada, providing professional recognition and making it easy for the public to find Pilates services in their preferred approach.

Annual Pilates Conference

The CPMS Annual Conference brings together Pilates professionals from across Canada for education, collaboration, and community-building, beginning in 2027 in Vancouver and expanding to additional regions in future years.

The CPMS Grants Program provides financial assistance for low-income clients to access therapeutic Pilates and supports facilitators in opening or expanding studios in rural and underserved communities, ensuring equitable access to Pilates across Canada.

Grants to support Growth
  • A comprehensive National Registry that connects apprentices, instructors, practitioners, educators, studios, and clinics, offering visibility, professional recognition, and easy access for the public to find Pilates services in their preferred approach.

  • An annual CPMS Conference, beginning in 2027, which brings together professionals from across the country for education, collaboration, and community-building, alongside regional events throughout the year.

  • Financial assistance grants that support low-income individuals in accessing therapeutic and clinical Pilates, ensuring equitable opportunities for movement, rehabilitation, and wellness.

  • Development grants for facilitators and studios seeking to open or expand in rural and underserved communities, helping increase national access to quality Pilates education and programming.

Together, these services reflect the CPMS commitment to professionalism, accessibility, and the long-term growth of the Pilates Method throughout Canada

PAY it FORWARD!

At the Canadian Pilates Method Society (CPMS), we believe that access to rehabilitative Pilates should not depend on income. That’s why we’re raising $25,000 to fund Pilates rehabilitation grants for individuals from low-income communities who need movement-based care to heal but can’t afford it.
